Our factory is located just outside of Puebla, nestled at the base of Mount Popocatepetl. Puebla is a beautiful city with a rich history. At ÉTICA, we are proud to be a part of this culture, and to be able to give back to the local community.
Several years ago we made a large investment in an onsite water purification system. We clean and recycle our factory water to feed local farmland throughout the region. Over the years we added several upgrades, including a community garden and a tilapia farm, to grow food right on our grounds.
On a mission to waste nothing, we also compress used wash stones into bricks, which we donate to build low-income housing in the area.
ÉTICA partners with organizations committed to environmental and workers’ rights initiatives around the world. A portion of our proceeds goes to support these groups, and we regularly invest our time through local cleanups, tree-planting and other charity initiatives.
ÉTICA is a proud member of 1% for the Planet, a global alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet and support environmental solutions.
We are a supporter of One Tree Planted, a nonprofit organization focused on global reforestation. In fact, every purchase made on eticadenim.com plants one tree.
Our company beach cleanups are organized through Heal the Bay, an environmental nonprofit dedicated to the health and safety of the coastal waters and watersheds of Greater Los Angeles.
Our company river cleanups support Friends of the LA River, a local nonprofit whose mission is to ensure a publicly accessible and ecologically sustainable Los Angeles River by inspiring River stewardship through community engagement, education, advocacy, and thought leadership.
